We can no longer allow the stories of Gender-Based Violence to continue in our country. It’s time for us to change the narrative and we believe that your school can be part of doing so!

#GiveHerACrown believes that the fight against Gender-Based Violence starts in schools. Gender discrimination which, simply put, is any unequal treatment, including privilege and priority, on the basis gender has been shown to start in childhood.

This kit provides Teachers, Champions for Change, with a transformative educational Toolkit which empowers and enables their school with CAPS-ALIGNED Educational Content that assists in driving gender equality with their students.

The educational content has been co-created with Lalela, an organisation that specializes in Art Education, and uses the power of creativity and storytelling in order to drive empathy and behavioural change in a positive way.
